Kenview Limited

KEBS & NEMA Approved · TÜV Austria Home Compost Certified

Responsible packaging, verified end to end.

From biodegradable materials to end-of-life composting — here is exactly how Kenview packaging protects your business, your customers and the soil it returns to.

The Problem We Solve

Packaging that comes back.
Not packaging that stays.

Every conventional plastic bag ever made still exists somewhere. Kenview gives Kenyan businesses an alternative that performs the same — and then disappears safely.

The status quo

Conventional plastic bag

  • Lingers for centuries in landfill and waterways
  • Made from finite fossil fuels
  • Fragments into microplastics, never truly disappears
  • Becomes someone else's problem at end of life
The Kenview way

Certified compostable bag

  • Carries real loads in real, everyday operations
  • Breaks down in home composting conditions
  • Leaves no toxic residue behind for soil or plants
  • KEBS, NEMA & TÜV Austria certified — claim verified

The Compostability Journey

From production line
back to the soil.

What actually happens to a Kenview bag over its life — before, during and after it works for your business.

01

Biodegradable by design

Made from biodegradable materials chosen to break down safely at end of life — not to sit in a landfill for centuries.

02

Works like it should

Strength, leak resistance and print quality that match what your operation demands — no compromise on performance.

03

Compost it after use

OK compost HOME certified — the bag breaks down in home composting conditions, no special industrial facility required.

04

Back to the soil

Water, CO₂ and biomass — the bag returns to nature as nutrients instead of polluting it for generations.

Common Questions

Straight answers,
before you ask.

The questions procurement teams and business owners ask us most about compostable packaging.

What's the difference between biodegradable and compostable?

All compostable bags are biodegradable, but not all biodegradable bags compost safely. Compostable means the material breaks down into water, CO₂ and biomass within a defined timeframe and leaves no toxic residue — verified for our range by TÜV Austria.

Can I compost these bags at home?

Yes. OK compost HOME certification means our bags break down in home composting conditions without any special industrial facility — a garden compost heap is enough, which is exactly what makes the certification so valuable.

Are they strong enough for commercial use?

Yes — that's the point. Our bags are engineered for load and leak resistance and batch-tested before dispatch, in five stock sizes from 10L to 110L and six colours, for retailers, restaurants, institutions and industrial partners.

Do you provide compliance documentation?

Yes. Certificates, test reports and compliance documentation for KEBS, NEMA and TÜV Austria are available on request — just ask our team and we'll equip your procurement or audit file the same day.

Ready to make your packaging part of the solution?

Tell us what you need — sizes, volumes, branding — and our team will respond with a tailored quote within one business day.
